| Luncheon Meetings

Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, from October through May (excluding January). The Faculty Club opens its doors at 10:30 a.m., providing a welcome that has become a tradition since 1939. At 11:30, the President begins a short meeting, and then lunch is served. By 12:30, the President introduces the speaker, who addresses a subject of major interest. The OSU Faculty Club is an excellent venue for our club meetings, giving us a physical connection with the University beyond Buckeye Bargains. However, parking is at a premium, and carpooling is strongly recommended (see details below). Free parking vouchers are available for the monthly luncheons. The vouchers may be used for spaces in front of the Faculty Club or Orton Hall, but availability is limited. The vouchers can be obtained in the lobby at the Faculty Club from 10:30-11:30 am the day of the luncheon and must be displayed on the dashboard of your car. The same voucher can be used for subsequent Women’s Club luncheons, but not for general parking.

Parking regulations are strictly enforced. Vouchers are necessary even for attendees with an OSU parking permit, as the 2-hour limit applies.

Special disability parking is available to anyone displaying a valid OSU or State of Ohio handicap permit, as long as a Faculty Club voucher is also posted on the car’s dashboard.

Additional parking is available at the Union Garages on College Road for an hourly fee. The Faculty Club voucher is not necessary to use those spaces, which are open to the public or to anyone holding an OSU parking permit.
